Pike Logan must stop a deranged fanatic bent on igniting an international conflagration in this explosive, action-packed thriller from 'New York Times' best-selling author and former special forces officer, Brad Taylor。

When a paragliding trip over the picturesque mountains of Switzerland results in the brutal murder of the former head of Israeli intelligence, Mossad brings in terrorist hunters Aaron and Shoshana to investigate。 But they’ll need help to find out who was behind the attack and what they’re planning next。 Luckily, Aaron and Shoshana know exactly who to call。

Taskforce operators Pike Logan and Jennifer Cahill have been trapped in Charleston, South Carolina, during COVID-19, so when Aaron and Shoshana show up on their doorstep with Israeli passports and a new mission, they jump at the chance to assist their friends。 Kata’ib Hezbollah, an Iranian-funded militia group operating in Iraq, has recently claimed responsibility for the “accidental” deaths of key members of the American and Israeli governments。 But something isn’t adding up, and Pike, Jennifer, and the two Mossad operators are determined to find out what’s really going on。

As they investigate, they’ll have to wade deep into the contentious religious and political fractures of Israel and the greater Middle East。 It’s a dangerous world where fanatics and legitimate organizations exist side by side, and it’s up to the Taskforce crew to determine who is pulling the strings。 What they find could have disastrous consequences not only for the Middle East, but for the entire world…。

Good oneAnother good one! Great story with a little too much backstory/filler。 Love the team dynamics。 Despite the filler, overall still entertaining。

I have not read to many books that have incorporated the Covid 19 into the plot but this one did and I think it added a bit of reality to it。 Pike Logan and his tribe of secret agent style missionaries are brought into a Mossad seeking mission。 Several deaths have occurred that could lead to an Iran attack on Israel and the United States。 Aaron and Shoshana have asked Pike and Jennifer to help find who is behind these murders before World War 3 breaks out。 It is a mission that needs to be done d I have not read to many books that have incorporated the Covid 19 into the plot but this one did and I think it added a bit of reality to it。 Pike Logan and his tribe of secret agent style missionaries are brought into a Mossad seeking mission。 Several deaths have occurred that could lead to an Iran attack on Israel and the United States。 Aaron and Shoshana have asked Pike and Jennifer to help find who is behind these murders before World War 3 breaks out。 It is a mission that needs to be done delicately and without the media breaking the story。 The clues lead them to Rome where the clues become more clear when they reveal end of days of Armeggdaon。 I have only read several of the Pike Logan books and each one you go deeper into the mind of Pike, Jennifer and Shoshana。 Shoshana is a lose canon that is intriguing。 She has a 6th sense that is well with each adventure I have had the pleasure of being on。 Pike and Shoshana are much alike but different。 They both have a vulnerability that adds to the character development and plot line。 Jennifer is the one that balances them both and gives them security or a sense of sanity in the insane action that is all round。 The story line is biblical that it refers to the end of days in Revelation。 It is an interesting take from other fictional plots and without giving anything away, it added more suspense and reality in today's world。 There is alot of moving parts as well。 The investigation of murdered women in Rome and the investigator is one。 Those that are bringing the end of the days have their own story that adds to the craziness 。 A real edge of your seat thriller!A special thank you to William Morrow and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review。 。。。more

My first read of 2022 was an ARC。 I so love this series。 I’m not too big on foreign locals and name but this cast of characters just leaves me wanting more。

This is the 16th book in Taylor’s Pike Logan series but only the 5th I have read, including the last 3。 The former head of Israeli intelligence is killed while paragliding over the mountains of Switzerland。 Although it was made to look like an accident, Mossad quickly brings in its top terrorist hunters, Aaron and Shoshana as it clearly was not。 The Israeli operatives quickly call in their friends, Pike Logan and fiancee Jennifer Cahill (who have been unable to leave home because of COVID-19)。 T This is the 16th book in Taylor’s Pike Logan series but only the 5th I have read, including the last 3。 The former head of Israeli intelligence is killed while paragliding over the mountains of Switzerland。 Although it was made to look like an accident, Mossad quickly brings in its top terrorist hunters, Aaron and Shoshana as it clearly was not。 The Israeli operatives quickly call in their friends, Pike Logan and fiancee Jennifer Cahill (who have been unable to leave home because of COVID-19)。 They are given Israeli passports and jump at the chance to get back in the game in the Middle East。 There are more killings of both American and Israeli government officials which appear to be the work of an Iranian-funded militia。 The facts don’t add up for intelligence operatives - there is something bigger going on - religious fanatics, terrorists, and legitimate organizations operate in the same environment and it will be up to Pike and company to figure out who might be responsible。 I have not read all of the books in the series - and which leads to my 4-star rating because it seems that you need to have read them in order to understand a lot of the characters and their relationships。 This is a complex story with plenty of action and the scenario, although truly fiction, is plausible in today’s world。 One of my pet peeves recently has been the unnecessary emphasis on COVID in books like this, but it was not a distraction this time。 My thanks to William Morrow and Edelweiss for the opportunity to read and review the ARC of this novel。 。。。more

ebook ARC Review - Brad Taylor’s “End of Days” is the sixteenth thriller in the Pike Logan series。 Pike Logan and Jennifer Cahill team up with Israeli Mossad friends Aaron and Shoshana to try and stop terrorists from bringing on ‘Armageddon’ between the Israelis and the rest of the Middle East。 A deranged terrorist leader and his group try to cause a world war by creating the ‘end of days’ according to the Bible prophecy in the Book of Revelations。 An overwhelming majority of thrillers involving ebook ARC Review - Brad Taylor’s “End of Days” is the sixteenth thriller in the Pike Logan series。 Pike Logan and Jennifer Cahill team up with Israeli Mossad friends Aaron and Shoshana to try and stop terrorists from bringing on ‘Armageddon’ between the Israelis and the rest of the Middle East。 A deranged terrorist leader and his group try to cause a world war by creating the ‘end of days’ according to the Bible prophecy in the Book of Revelations。 An overwhelming majority of thrillers involving terrorism have featured Islamic extremists and Taylor reminds us in this exciting story that this radical villain does have a monopoly on ‘crazy’。 Nevertheless, the plot, storyline and character development were brilliant! One of the best characters Taylor has created in the series is the Israeli Mossad team of Aaron and Shoshana。 Because of them, Taylor has developed an almost endless supply of storylines when they join with the Taskforce。 Shoshana’s character is mystical, she is a puzzle wrapped in an enigma。 The contrast between the fearless apex predator with the emotional maturity of a teenager is endlessly fascinating。 She just wants to be loved like everyone else, yet she's like no one else。 I absolutely love her character and the humorous bantering between she and Pike。 Although End of Days was lighter on the action and more on the history and politics than previous Pike Logan novels, the story was one of Taylor’s most suspenseful and well thought out narratives。 It was a captivating geopolitical tale that was all too realistic and very well researched。 It's well-written with a lot of well-placed humor and some serious history lessons on Middle East politics。 Taylor continues to cement his self as one of the best in the thriller genre。 End of Days was a good mix of Middle East politics, religion with some sufficient action。 Great read to start 2022! Thank you Netgalley and publisher William Morrow & Company for the ebook ‘Advance Reader’s Copy’ (ARC)。 。。。more

Brad Taylor delivers another great thriller in End of Days。 Pike Logan and the Taskforce are grounded due to COVID-19 but lend some assistance to their Israeli allies when an assassination is carried out that sets off a chain of events that could lead to the end of days。 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for this latest latest installment in this great series!
